Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced an initiative to entice Canadian travelers to visit New York.
The governor launched the NY LOVES CANADA promotion, which includes discounts and deals at venues throughout the state. Some promotions, which include discounted admissions and hotel rates, will run through December.
According to the governor’s office, Canada has been the state’s largest inbound international travel market, but Canadian visitation to New York state fell more than a quarter in 2025 and spending dropped 28% over 2024.
