Firefighters respond to a car fire at the Randolph, Vermont McDonald's

A McDonald’s in Randolph, Vermont was forced to close Monday due to a car fire.

Vermont State Police say at about 10 a.m. a vehicle in the restaurant’s drive-thru caught fire. The driver was able to get out of the car before it was fully engulfed in flames, but a small portion of the building also caught fire.

Customers and employees evacuated without any injuries. The fire was put out quickly, but the McDonald’s will remain closed until further notice.
