Sciarra, Warner Advance In Northampton Mayoral Race

Northampton City Council President Gina-Louise Sciarra and transportation consultant Marc Warner are the finalists in the race for mayor in Northampton.

Northampton voters will elect a new mayor in November

Voters in Northampton, Massachusetts have narrowed the field for mayor to two following Tuesday’s preliminary election.

City Council President Gina-Louise Sciarra will face off against local businessman Marc Warner in November’s general election.

Sciarra received 61.6 percent of the vote with Warner second in the five-person field, according to final unofficial results.

Mayor David Narkewicz is not seeking re-election.
