Authorities confirm five people were killed in a plane crash in Delaware County Sunday. The FAA says a single engine Piper PA-46 went down near Sidney, New York around 2 p.m. It had departed from Albert S. Nader Airport in Oneonta with five people aboard. In an incident report published today/Monday, the FAA says the crash occurred under unknown circumstances. New York State Police say 76-year-old Roger Beggs, 43-year-old Laura VanEpps, 42-year-old Ryan VanEpps, 12-year-old James Van Epps, and 10-year-old Harrison VanEpps were all killed. They were family members from Georgia who had been in Cooperstown for a baseball tournament.
