Saratoga Springs Finance Commissioner Michele Madigan recently announced her upcoming retirement. The Democrat will close out her time on the city council at the end of 2021, marking ten years in office. WAMC's Lucas Willard spoke with Madigan over the phone about how the political landscape in the Spa City has changed, a challenging budget year, and why she chose to not to seek re-election.
