Man In Critical Condition After Lake George Parasailing Incident

A man was seriously injured after a parasailing incident on Lake George.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call around 12:35 p.m. Saturday for the mishap involving two parasailers near Tea Island in the southern part of the Adirondack lake.

The two victims were assisted out of the water by boaters. One of the parasailers, 23-year-old Adrian Robels of New Windsor, New York, was underwater for an undetermined amount of time after his harness rigging and PFD became entangled. He was brought to Glens Falls Hospital in critical condition.

The other victim, Robels' 27-year-old sister, was safely assisted out of the water.

The two were parasailing with company Pinky’s Parasail. Authorities are asking residents or businesses in the vicinity to see if the incident was captured on video.
