Police believe two men found in a Westchester County reservoir Tuesday morning died of drowning and hypothermia after their boat capsized.

State police say 48-year-old Ngan We Kong of Brooklyn and 47-year-old Weitao Ma of Staten Island were discovered by a fisherman in the Muscoot Reservoir in Golden's Bridge.

The victims were reportedly on the water fishing from a 12-foot aluminum boat before the vessel capsized sometime after 5 p.m. Monday.

Police say both men had life preservers but died in the 38-degree water.

The incident is being considered accidental. A specific cause of death will be determined by the Westchester Medical Examiner’s Office.
