Cobleskill Man Struck And Killed By Police Cruiser

An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a police cruiser in the Village of Cobleskill.

New York State Police says authorities responded to East Main Street at approximately 10 p.m. Friday for reports a pedestrian was struck and killed by a Cobleskill Village Police marked unit.

The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Gerard Roldan III of Cobleskill.

Cobleskill Village Police requested State Police conduct an independent investigation into the incident.
