Officials Announce New Flight Service Between Albany And Buffalo

Officials at OneJet announced Monday it will begin air service between Albany and Buffalo next year.
For more than seven years there has been no air service between the New York’s Capital city and Buffalo.  

Airline and airport officials announced that twice daily weekday round trip flights between the Buffalo Niagara and Albany International Airports will begin on February 1st.

Governor Andrew Cuomo stated that  with the growth in Buffalo’s economy the “Increased flight accessibility for business travelers is crucial…”  

The flights will be on 30 seat commuter aircraft and gate to gate flight time is estimated to be 55 minutes.
