New York state Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner sees the hemp industry as an economic opportunity for Washington and Saratoga Counties.

On Tuesday evening, the Democrat from the 113th District hosted an information session in conjunction with Cornell Cooperate Extension on growing industrial hemp in Greenwich.

Woerner tells WAMC's Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief Lucas Willard that the meeting was standing-room-only.
