Police in South Glens Falls are investigating graffiti that read “Whites Only” that appeared outside a black resident’s apartment late Thursday or Friday.
The Post Star reported that the apartment building’s only black tenant, who is disabled and has been in the building for eight years, believed the graffiti was directed at him and said he has been the victim of racial harassment and a target of burglars while living in the building.
Authorities were checking surveillance cameras that might provide clues and are asking anyone with information to contact the South Glens Falls police department at 518-792-6336.
