NYRA Urges Fans To Get Tickets Before Travers Day

NYRA says all reserve-seating for Travers Day has already sold out. With Saturday’s attendance capped at 50,000, Saratoga Race Course has seen a strong season on the back of sunny weather and a renewed interest in racing after last year’s Triple Crown win by American Pharoah.

NYRA spokesman Patrick McKenna said people hoping to see this year’s Mid-Summer Derby will need to act fast.

“Again we just emphasize our fans to get on the computer, you can call up, you can physically show up here at the track and get those tickets just as soon as possible so that you’re not shut out,” said McKenna.

More than 40,000 fans attended the Alabama Stakes last Saturday.
