Services Announced For Johnstown Mayor Michael Julius

Services have been announced for Johnstown Mayor Michael Julius, who died Thursday at age 66.

Julius, who was elected in 2013, lead the Fulton County city for two and a half years as a Democrat.

Well known in the community prior to his run for office, Julius operated his own business, Broadalbin Pharmacy, from 1989 to 2010.

Visiting hours will be held at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home in Johnstown Monday evening.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church in Albany.

Interment will be in Fern Dale Cemetery.
