Already the subject of a federal investigation, a former top aide to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Joseph Percoco, was listed on the Democrat’s campaign payroll, and not as what Cuomo said Monday, a consultant.
The Times Union reports State Board of Elections records show Percoco was paid wages between April and December 2014 at a regular rate of more than $5,000. U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara and the administration itself are investigating money Percoco made as a consultant from two companies with businesses before the state.
