The 75-year-old Saratoga Casino and Raceway announced a new logo and name change on Wednesday.
The Saratoga Casino and Raceway has been renamed the Saratoga Casino Hotel. Senior Vice President of Marketing Rita Cox says the new branding reflects the resort’s transformation into a “complete entertainment destination.”
The $40 million, 123,000-square foot hotel expansion is set to open in July. The expansion project will include multiple restaurants, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.
The “racino” missed out on one of four full-scale state casino licenses, one of which went to a project in nearby Schenectady.
