A plan to locate a Dollar General distribution center in the Town of Wilton off Northway Exit 16 has fallen through.
According to the Times Union Saratoga EDC issued a statement Friday claiming an attempt to lure the company to the area failed, despite an $11 million incentive package.
In its statement, SEDC said Dollar General told the landowner the "property does not fit their needs."
SEDC told the newspaper it was disappointed by the company's decision.
