Cancer Center Opens In Clifton Park

New York Oncology Hematology

A ribbon cutting was held Friday for a state of the art cancer center in southern Saratoga County.

Dr. Nini Wu, president of New York Oncology Hemotology, says the new Clifton Park facility will bring services close to those in need.

“We bring research locally, close to home so you don’t have to drive to New York or Boston and we have the support of those tertiary cancer centers as well,” said Wu. “We bring the highest of technology right here, and we bring therapy – including chemotherapy and vaccine therapies and immunotherapies – that you can do right out of your local area.”

The facility’s Varian TrueBeam Radiotherapy System is the first of its kind in the Capital Region.
