The University at Albany men’s and women’s basketball teams are returning home from the NCAA Tournament.
The UAlbany women’s team was narrowly defeated by Duke 54 to 52 Friday afternoon. Later the men’s team fell to Oklahoma 69 to 60 in Columbus, Ohio.
The Great Danes are heading home from the Big Dance a week after their entry into the tournament made national headlines when player Peter Hooley scored a buzzer-beater against Stony Brook to capture the America East tournament.
