New York Governor Mario Cuomo has died at 82. The former three-term governor had been ailing in recent months, but did appear with son Gov. Andrew Cuomo on election night.
Cuomo served as New York Governor from 1983 to 1994.
In a remarks tweeted this evening, former New York Governor David Paterson hailed Cuomo's "dedication to public service and his lifelong commitment to New York and all its residents."
