A Saratoga County blogger facing child pornography charges has pleaded guilty to a computer hacking related charge.
The Albany Times Union reports56-year-old John Tighe of Milton, NY entered a guilty plea Wednesday in Albany County Court on a charge related to hacking into a computer system owned by a Colonie-based company.
Tighe was the blogger behind Saratoga In Decline, a website often critical of elected officials.
As part of the hacking investigation, in 2013 authorities seized Tighe’s computer. It was then investigators discovered a cache of child pornography. Tighe will face charges related to the child pornography in federal court.
