New York Police are searching for a 22-year-old man north of Albany after the bludgeoning death of another man and the beating of a woman.
Local media report that police responding to a call for a violent domestic situation in Schaghticoke at about 8 p.m. Thursday found the body of a man in the front yard and a severely beaten woman. The woman was rushed to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Police are searching the area for Anthony Repp, who they describe as a person of interest. WNYT in Albany reports the dead man is Repp's 62 year old stepfather and the injured woman is his mother.
The victims were not immediately identified.
Residents in the area 20 miles north of Albany were advised to lock their doors.
