Albany, NY – A big win for Big Blue...

Last night in East Rutherford, Eli Manning's 72-yard strike to Hakeem Nicks helped the Giants cruise to a 24-2 playoff win over the Falcons. Sound courtesy of Fox.

Manning completed 23 of 32 for 277 yards and three touchdowns. The Giants defense also did its part, limiting the Falcons to 64 rushing yards, and also stuffing a pair of fourth-and-one situations. New York travels to Green Bay to take on the Packers on Sunday.

Meanwhile in Denver, Ben Roethlisberger's 31-yard scoring strike to Jerricho Cotchery late in the fourth, helped the Steelers rally from a 10-point deficit to force the Broncos into overtime. The Broncos won the coin flip, the ball, and on the first play of OT, the game.

To college football, Northern Illinois dumped Arkansas State 38-20 in the GoDaddy.com Bowl. Tonight, Alabama takes on LSU for the BCS National Championship.

To Top 25 college hoops, Indiana downed Penn State 88-82, and Michigan cruised past Wisconsin 59-41.

On the Women's side, Maryland edged North Carolina 78-72 in OT, St. John's upset Louisville 72-64, and Duke dominated N.C. State 83-59.

To the NBA, Oklahoma City dumped San Antonio 108-96, Orlando got by Sacramento 104-97, Portland pounded Cleveland 98-78, the Lakers dropped Memphis 90-82, Phoenix held off Milwaukee 109-93, and Minnesota whipped Washington 93-73.

And in the NHL, Detroit skated past Chicago 3-2, Ottawa outlasted Philadelphia 6-4, and Anaheim routed Columbus 7-4.
