Essex County Officials Cautiously Optimistic Prison Facility Can Be Saved From Closure

Moriah, NY – Governor Paterson's Executive Budget proposes closing several prison facilities, including the Moriah Shock Incarceration Facility in the Adirondacks. Essex County officials say they are cautiously optimistic that state officials may decide to keep the prison open. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
