Ray Brook, NY – Adirondack Park Agency staff have recommended approving the use of an herbicide for the first time in a lake in the 6-million acre park in order to kill an invasive weed. But one environmental group says use of a toxic herbicide in an Adirondack water-body is a bad idea and is mounting a last-minute effort delay a decision.
