Utica, NY – A Central New York firm announces global expansion and development: Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports.

It's being hailed as an oportunity for growth that will benefit both the company and the city it calls home - Zogby International has sold 51 per cent of its stock to Brazilian research firm Ibope. Pollster John Zogby founded his company in Utica in 1984. Utica Mayor David Roefaro was briefed about the deal: his administration is supportive of the sale and hopes it will bring more jobs to Central New York. Zogby has the option of selling the rest of his company to Ibope in five years' time. The deal was finalized January Sixth.
