Albany, NY – On Tuesday, February 10th the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act went into effect, setting strict new standards for consumer products intended for children 12 and younger. Local consumer and environmental groups are calling on New York State to take a role in monitoring, testing and enforcing toy safety. Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports
