Albany, NY – The new Senate Democrats took their first major action this week, approving a plan agreed to with Governor Paterson to close the state's $1.6 billion dollar budget deficit. Meantime, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver dropped hints suggesting he would favor passage of a so-called "Millionaire's Tax" - Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports
