LIHEAP Funds Released By Feds Not Enough to Meet Need According to New York Advocates

Albany, NY – The Bush Administration is releasing the remaining 120-point-7 million dollars in contingency funds from the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, known as LIHEAP. New York will receive just over 12-point-one million dollars. But advocates say it's a drop in the bucket and much more is necessary to meet the need. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
