Congressional Ski Junket Leads to Questions About State Agency Spending

Lake Placid, NY – Two New York State Assembly committees are planning a public hearing to look into the 2006 Congressional Winter Challenge at Lake Placid. The state officials want to know why one state authority sponsored another state entity to put on a 25-thousand dollar ski weekend for two congressmen, their staffers and some lobbyists.
