Albany, NY – Albany, New York, mayor Jerry Jennings says the convention center is off the table, if New York State lawmakers scale back funding for the city of Albany by $322 million. Left only with $6 million per year in payment-in-lieu-of-taxes aid, the city's future may involve more than just the demise of the $200 million convention center proposal.
