Retail Stores To Reopen In Vermont

Governor Phil Scott says retail stores in Vermont will be allowed to open next week at 25% capacity and must abide by health and safety requirements.
Scott said Monday when he extends his emergency order on Friday it will include a plan for the gradual reopening of retail. The Republican said when stores begin to reopen from coronavirus closures May 18th they must meet or exceed all health and safety requirements set forth to date.  “All employees will be required to wear a facial covering and everyone must maintain a minimum distance of six feet and there will also be an occupancy limit.”

Scott says he will release details of the retail opening plan on Friday.
