Nearly 50 Positive COVID-19 Cases Between Williamstown, Fairview Commons

COVID-19 outbreaks at two Berkshire County nursing homes continue to develop.

According to Berkshire Healthcare, the Williamstown Commons has 43 positive cases of coronavirus among roughly 130 residents as of Tuesday. 14 residents have died since the Commons reported its first case on March 24th, 10 have recovered from the virus, and 51 have tested negative. At Fairview Commons in Great Barrington, six residents have tested positive and 111 have tested negative. At both facilities, residents with COVID-19 are being separated from the general population in designated sections of the respective centers.
