Vermont February Revenue Report On Track

Vermont’s monthly revenue report came out on Friday. The February report does not reflect the economic impact of coronavirus mitigation efforts.
General fund receipts for February 2020 were two percent or $1.78 million below the state’s monthly revenue target. But year to date the fund was a quarter percent above projections.

Both the transportation and education funds were above monthly targets in February.

Agency of Administration Secretary Susanne Young noted that while the revenues have been on track to meet targets, the March report will show the first revenue impacts of the state’s efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19.
