The U.S. Marshals service says a man accused of killing his girlfriend in Vermont in 2018 has been arrested in Jamaica.
Officials said Wednesday that 38-year-old Leroy Headley was found and arrested by Jamaican authorities on Sunday in Negril, Jamaica.

Headley was wanted on a second-degree murder charge in the May 3, 2018, shooting death of his partner and mother of his children, Anako "Annette" Lumumba in South Burlington.

The U.S. Marshals say he was scheduled for a court hearing in Kingston, Jamaica, on Wednesday to determine his return to the U.S.
