DA: 1 Dead, 2 Injured In Cheshire, MA Collision

A collision in Cheshire, Massachusetts left one dead and two injured. 

The Berkshire County District Attorney’s office says 61-year-old Anthony Emard of North Adams, Massachusetts was pronounced dead at the scene of the multi-car accident on Route 8 on Sunday.

29-year-old Trever Field, of Adams, and 37-year-old Michael Taylor, also of Adams, were also involved in the incident. According to authorities, Field struck Taylor’s rear bumper in the southbound lane, causing his car to spin out. One of the two cars then struck Emard’s car in the northbound lane. Emard’s vehicle then rolled over.

The collision is under investigation by State Police.
