Vermont's Natural Resources Secretary is inviting the public to discuss a variety of environmental issues including composting during a meeting Tuesday.
Natural Resources Secretary Julie Moore will provide more information about Vermont's upcoming universal recycling which starts in July of 2020. Food and food scraps will be required to be separate from trash. She will also give advice on how to reduce food waste, start composting and how to compost without attracting wildlife.
The meeting will start at 4 p.m. in Montpelier and a Facebook Live stream will also be available.
