Worker Killed On Mass Pike A Berkshire Resident

The worker killed on the Mass Pike Thursday was a Berkshire County resident.

The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office says Friday the worker was Brian M. Simard, a 26-year-old man from North Adams. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, at the 17.2 mile marker on the turnpike in the town of Becket. The DA’s office says the accident is still under investigation.
