Mobile Lab Will Test Energy-Saving Water Technology

Massachusetts Clean Energy Center

   Water is not something frequently associated with high tech. But, Massachusetts is home to a growing water technology sector. 

   The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, a quasi-public agency, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst have developed a mobile lab to test water treatment technologies in the field.  

      The $4 million project was funded primarily by the federal government.

      WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with energy center CEO Steve Pike.
