Vermont State Police are looking for a woman in connection with the shooting death of a man whose remains were found in a wooded area.
Police say the victim has been tentatively identified as 35-year-old Troy Ford, of Highgate. Two women walking their dogs found the remains Saturday.
Police say he was shot several months ago by 31-year-old Erika Guttilla, who was living with Ford at her parents' home in Highgate. Police are searching for Guttilla and 28-year-old Corey Cassani, also involved in the case. They are considered armed and dangerous.
Police say Guttilla's mother, Carmen Guttilla, was arrested on charges of aiding in the commission of a felony. Her attorney's office had no information about the case.
