Lee, Massachusetts voters will decide at a special town meeting in January where to site a medical marijuana dispensary.
Lee planners are eyeing three potential areas for a medical pot dispensary: off Route 102, Route 20, and in the Quarry Hill Business Park – all of which are more or less on the outskirts of town.
Voters will consider changes to zoning bylaws at a special town meeting sometime in mid-January. The date has not been set.
The state health department would still need to sign off before Lee’s dispensary can open.
The proposed bylaw changes do not address recreational pot facilities.
Great Barrington has the only licensed medical marijuana dispensary in Berkshire County. There are 17 statewide.
