Massachusetts U.S. Senator Ed Markey will hold a town hall in Pittsfield on Sunday.
State Senator Adam Hinds, a fellow Democrat, says he expects Markey’s focus will range from the tax overhaul in the Republican-controlled Congress to local concerns.
“Media and FCC regulations that are in his remit and the media markets that we are a part of and how western Massachusetts has often been cut out of the media markets that would include our own state capital,” Hinds says.
Host Berkshire Brigades, the county’s Democratic party, says doors open at 5 at the Barrington Stage Company Mainstage in Pittsfield.
