A former military police officer who is now a defense attorney is one of two Republicans seeking the party’s nomination to take on Massachusetts Attorney General, Maura Healey, a Democrat, in next year’s election. James “Jay” McMahon tells WAMC there are three major issues of concern in his campaign; the Second Amendment, public safety and the opiate crisis in Massachusetts.
