After 12 years, IS183 Art School of the Berkshires Executive Director Hope Sullivan is stepping down. Her last day on the job is Friday. She’ll be moving north to head the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center Foundation in Stowe, Vermont. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief JD Allen sat down with Sullivan and Lucie Castaldo, Sullivan’s former student who’s now interim director.
The school board will begin a search for a permanent replacement this fall.
