Pittsfield Police arrested a 21-year-old man Monday for a nighttime armed and masked robbery at a local bank.
Police say Benjamin Robertson was arrested Monday for robbing at gunpoint an employee of a local business who was making a night deposit at Citizens Bank on Merrill Road.
Robertson, 21, was found hiding near the bank by a Pittsfield Police K9 unit. Near him was a money bag and a BB gun designed to look like a real gun, according to police.
Robertson was arraigned Monday in Central Berkshire District Court.
