The Berkshire Athenaeum has installed new STEAM learning kits to encourage children to explore educational programs.
The new center at the Berkshire Athenaeum includes 25 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math-related kits. Each kit contains books, activities, props, music, arts and crafts ideas, and tools for infants to grade 6.
The kits are funded in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
Families and educators are invited to a celebratory rollout of the kits at 4 p.m. Thursday.
