A New Hampshire family has claimed a $487 million Powerball jackpot weeks after the winning ticket was announced.
The winning ticket for the July 30 drawing was sold at a Hannaford supermarket in Raymond, New Hampshire, a town of about 10,000 residents.

Lottery officials said Monday at a news conference that the family wishes to remain anonymous. Their final payout after taxes will be $256 million, and the money will be placed in a trust.

Attorneys from a law firm hired to run the trust say the family plans to donate some of the money to charity.

Hannaford donated its $100,000 commission for selling the ticket to a number of charities, including the Raymond Police Department and food pantries. The family will match it.

It was the eighth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot.
