The U.S. Forest Service says the cleanup is continuing after the annual Rainbow Gathering that was held this year in the Green Mountain National Forest in the town of Mount Tabor.
Forest Service Spokesman Ethan Ready says that as of Monday about 100 members of the Rainbow community were working at the location to continue the cleanup. The event peaked on July 4 with more than 10,000 people on the mountain.

Federal law enforcement officials issued dozens of tickets for a variety of minor infractions, but there were no serious incidents.

Rainbow gatherings have been held every year since 1972 at different National Forest locations across the country. It's a temporary community that gathers to practice peace, love and respect.
