Protesters Block Public Service Board Entrance

A group of protesters temporarily blocked an entrance to the building that houses the Vermont Public Service Board Monday morning.
The group Rising Tide Vermont opposes the Addison-Rutland natural gas pipeline project and camped out on State Street in Montpelier over the weekend.

On Monday officers from Vermont State Police, Montpelier Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the building blockade after state workers were unable to enter the building.

The Burlington Free Press reports three people were arrested.
