Vermont State Police

Police in Springfield, Vermont, are investigating a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a man over the weekend.

Police said 37-year-old Wesley Wing died early Sunday at a New Hampshire hospital following the shooting Saturday evening near Jake's South Street Market.

Police say their investigation indicates that the shooting was an isolated incident.
An arrest warrant has been issued  for 30 year old Gregory Allen Smith  of Springfield Vermont for second degree murder.

The 2011 black Infinity allegedly operated by Smith during the shooting was seized during a search of a residence in Keene, NH.   Smith had already fled the area and is now reportedly driving a white 2004 Buick Rendezvous with New Hampshire plates.
