Spring has officially arrived in the Green Mountains.
Smuggler's Notch has opened, a steep, windy mountain pass that is closed to traffic in the winter.
The Vermont Agency of Transportation opened Route 108 Friday afternoon.
The pass is expected to stay open at least until this fall.
